The Wharfdale Tree Guard is a durable and attractive solution for protecting young and established trees in a wide range of urban and landscaped environments, including town centres, regeneration projects, car parks, parks, and gardens. Manufactured in the UK from high-quality, mild carbon steel sourced locally, the Wharfdale Tree Guard offers a robust physical barrier that safeguards the tree trunk from damage caused by pedestrians, vehicles, and grounds maintenance machinery.
Supplied in two fully welded halves that easily bolt together, this tree guard is available in two standard sizes: 1.8m x 400mm diameter and 1.8m x 600mm diameter. It can be fixed directly to Green-tech’s supporting frame and tree grille system or installed independently into the ground using 400mm length ground-fixing legs.
All guards are finished in hot dip galvanised coating to BS EN ISO 1461:1999 for long-lasting corrosion resistance. Optional polyester powder coating is available in black or a range of RAL colours for projects requiring a customised aesthetic.
